Hi, I’m Daniel Ussia, better known as Dan.
A Sydney-based freelance designer with over 10 years of experience working across brand identity, campaigns, and visual storytelling.
My creative path has been anything but linear (and I like it that way). I’ve worked in fast-paced design agencies with major Australian brands, including NAB, Bupa, and MLC. I've also spent time as an in-house designer and now partner with businesses and agencies to bring bold, strategic, and well-crafted ideas to life.
I help small to medium businesses refine or reinvent their visual identity — working closely with founders, directors and marketing teams to build brands that feel authentic, consistent, and built to grow. For creative agencies, I’m the extra set of senior hands you call in when you need a safe pair – someone who can slot into the team, deliver with craft, and keep the creative momentum flowing.
At the heart of it all, I’m a problem-solver with a deep love of design systems, storytelling, and making work that feels good and works hard.
